It started in the trenches of high-stakes finance. Over 15 years across EY, PB Fintech, and some of India's most complex transactions, Gaurav built an investor-first instinct for numbers, deals, and the decisions that shape businesses. He managed $100M+ in P&L, supported $500M+ in transactions, and worked alongside global investors including Sequoia, SoftBank, and Tiger Global.

But a pattern kept emerging. Founders were making high-stakes decisions without the right financial thinking in the room. Investors were evaluating deals without independent, rigorous analysis. Gaurav stepped out of corporate life to fill that gap himself, working directly with founders, PE funds, and leadership teams as a trusted, independent financial partner.

In April 2025, that independent practice became something more. Arthasya Consulting was born, a structured advisory firm with a clear mandate and one founding belief: that the right financial insight, delivered with precision and clarity, changes the direction of a business.

The first step in building the right team. Yash Kabra joined Arthasya Consulting as its first hire, bringing energy, financial rigour, and a deep commitment to the firm's mission.

In March 2026, the team expanded. New talent, new capabilities, and a growing mandate across India and global markets. The foundation was getting stronger, and so was the ambition.

In 2026, the firm took its next step. Arthasya Consulting became Altevius Partners, a name rooted in the Latin altus meaning elevation and via meaning path. Not just a rebrand, but a clearer articulation of who we have always been and where we are determined to go. Same team. Same rigour. A higher path, always.
